Id have a hard time giving up a young receiver with a young qb, for anything. Cooper has an easy 10 more years left, while Bell might have 3 solid seasons.
It made sense to not have Crabtree and Cooper, so getting rid of one of them was a good move.

But it didn't have to be THAT trade.....

Yo thak at minimum

ODB, Evans, DJ are going before Bell and Coop in 1 QB startups.

But after that its a tossup between those Bell and Cooper. 43 basically paying Crowell (a 4th round startup in his own right), two firsts, two seconds to switch them.

Yeah. Bell and Cooper straight up would have been fair. Whoever initiated the trade probably would have had to overpay to make the other person want to part ways, but this is straight robbery.

So instead of starting McCoy, Crowell, Cooper, Crabtree/Fitz, and Edelman, 43 will start McCoy, Bell, Fitz, Crabtree, and Edelman. Maybe a slightly better starting lineup but now has less depth and gave up a f**k ton of valuable draft picks.

Can't see how this trade makes since for him. Got a lot of older dudes on that team and no future picks to replace them.
