There is no window. Our best chance at a Superbowl was blown when Tanny threw that 3rd pick vs the Bungles. Last season was our best chance. I'd rather reset now than blow a bunch of money now while kicking the can down the road with Tanny because we know he won't get it done. The trade still doesn’t make sense to me, I get you risk letting Brown walk for nothing next year but our championship window is now and there isn’t a lot of time left. Henry might be starting to wear down, Tanny is developing early stages of noodle arm syndrome, and the Julio Jones experiment was a dud. You make this kind of business decision when your team is stuck in mediocrity. When your team was the #1 seed last year, you run it back and go all in even if it means having to blow the team up after winning a championship.
So that will be the only good game he plays like Corey vs Us last year. Same with Jonnu.AJ will be fired up when the Titans play at Philly this yr….
I do fault AJB to some degree. He could have taken a more team-friendly deal like Henry did. Henry got 4 years/50M while AJB got 4 years/100M. Nobody in their right mind can say that AJ is twice as valuable as Henry.
The WR market went out of control this offseason. If Christian Kirk is worth 20M a year, AJB is worth 50M a year. But they aren't worth it. ABJ wanted a max contract at the expense of team success and he got it. In Philly. So be it. Hope Hurts is the real deal or he'll be throwing twitter tantrums and demanding a trade within 2 years.

Well the difference here is Henry wants to be the best back to play the game. AJB just wanted to be paid, don't be surprised is AJ just kinda of disappears in Philly.I do fault AJB to some degree. Oh fantasy football? Now we're talking real sh*t....I've never played in a league with you so wrong again..go back to your couch thenAnd Kupp was a few yards shy of 1,000 yards in 2020.
I’m pretty sure I beat you in fantasy football this year so yeah maybe I’m not the one who needs to watch more football lol
Although I was a big fan of Brown I get it the Titans don’t throw enough to pay a WR 25 million a year.
Aj had 869 yds and 5 tds last year
Burks will beat him at at least 1 of those

The media forced this trade. That's all they've talked about the past 6 weeks and BOOM it happens during draft night. I think had the media not talked it up so much AJ would still be a Titan.
But I actually didn't lose sleep over this at all. Actually kinda glad we traded him now that I've dwelled on it. We still need another playmaker with either our next pick or one in the 3rd.

I don't really think it's about the stats when it comes to someone like AJ. It's his presence of what he's capable of doing is what scares the opposition. Someone that is capable of taking a 2 yard catch and turning it into a 70 yard TD is extremely valuable in this league.
A lot of the blame needs to be pointed to the Jags. Them having to overpay people by 40-50% just to come to Jacksonville is messing with the market.
Honestly don’t blame JR they tried to keep him had to make a business decision I’m glad they got something. For him. The titans don’t throw the ball enough to pay Brown what he wanted, not sure he can play a full season anyways. Seems like the money will be used for Big Jeff, it was one or the other no way they could pay both!

Go back to my couch? Lol what does that even mean?
Were you not in the GoTitans league last year? Could’ve swore you were. Anyways, you’ve got an open invite to come play in one of my leagues anytime you want. Come show off your superior “football watching” abilities…
every thread turns into some internet fight with the same couple people on here lol

At the end of the day I feel really bad for Henry. Henry wants to win a championship and nothing else, but it's hard to build a complete team when you have folks like AJ with other things on their mind other than winning a SB.

Back to the couch was in regards to you bringing up fantasy football...please keep up
It sounds like AJ made an extra 35 million with no strings attached. That's a deal you can't really refuse. Nobody would turn that down to be team friendly. Careers are short in the NFL. You take what you can get.
I'm worried that the Brown trade is going to reflect poorly on the organization. Is a receiver going to feel like playing hard for an offense which hardly throws the ball, and won't pay them?
Eagles contract is basically 2 yrs 57 million that is 28.5 million for a great player with bad/chronic knees and other issues. Was a tough call but the correct call. We have Burks on rookie deal that is now 5 years and we picked up extra picks. J-Rob has to kill this draft
