Welcome To Titans Talk - Tennessee Titans Fans Message Board

1-5 is not mediocre....it is bad LOL. In seven days it will be 1-6, which is bad as well.
Mettenberger was 2-14.

Prior to that, gotta hit the way back machine to 1994 and Houston.

The 5-11/4-12 04/05 seasons were not this bad.

I haven't seen anybody ask the question so I will. Why does JaQuan Jackson get 0 snaps at WR?
Until this week, there must have been a quota for Burks.
Now I’m thinking it was for the TE this week. Whyle, Chig, and Vannet all had action.
Plus you have to waste 10 plays on Ridley.

Agree on D we mostly play well but fold when it matters in 4th Q (Jets / Colts). They were also terrible against the Packers from the first whistle. Also haven't made many big plays, pretty much just forced some punts. They are clearly the better part of this Titans team compared with our offense but I refuse to call them 'one of best in NFL'

We have faced Caleb's first game, washed Rodgers, Malik, Tyler Huntley and Joe Flacco.. hardly top tier competition. The real test will be next few games.
Our 'elite' defense did not pass the real test as predicted. What a trash team.

As far as Sanders I'm not sold. But he does come from good stock. He'll be confident. And that's something we haven't seen the position in a long time. Maybe going all the way back to McNair.

As far as would Sanders stick with Nashville. Colorado ain't the big time, but the apple don't fall far from the tree. So I don't see him in Nashville long term. Deion will be in his ear. He's gonna follow the money and the market. Normally I would say to that, just five me the player for 5 years, but man, I don't see Sanders staying put no matter how good we are. And if he walks, it's a shame.

He can’t just play out his rookie deal and walk. Rookies don’t get no trade clauses. The Titans would attempt to sign him long term before his 5 year deal is done if he is that good. If he refuses to sign he gets traded for a boatload of picks. So in your scenario he gets traded to a team he doesn’t want to go to, to fucking bad. Same thing with holding out. If he doesn’t want Nashville, get the trade down pre draft.

I’m not a fan of Sanders personally but he is atheltically gifted. Ward is my favorite QB in this draft
It’s weird that this is the common thing I keep hearing:

Sanders is the best QB of this class AND this QB class is pretty bad.

I’ll admit I could watch more on the QBs coming up, but I’m not sold on any. Sanders gets the hype but I can’t overlook that he plays at CO and I did watch the K St. game where of the 6-7 sacks he took, 3-4 were his fault for running into the tackler.

That's why I really don't want him. That right there is why he'd fit in perfectly with this O-Line.
He'd be a much more expensive Malik Willis.
