Welcome To Titans Talk - Tennessee Titans Fans Message Board

I think the debate has started.

Roll with Rudolph or put Levis back in (if healthy)?

I see a lot of posts and videos arguing Rudolph gives the better shot to win this season.
I’ll agree with the statement but we all know Rudolph isn’t the future and isn’t taking this team to the trophy.
My biggest concern with going Rudolph would be that there still hangs a ? Over Levis going into next season.

Unless there isn’t and the Levis experiment is officially over, I think titans need to go with Levis. Give him opportunity for growth or at least to remove all doubt titans are done with him.

Definitely agree, we need to know what we have in Levis now vs next season.

exacctly... bench 'healthy' L8 and 100% letting him go end of season

The season was to see if Levis can ball with two legitimate WR. The answer so far is, hell no. I would give him the rest of the season and if there are no signs of improvement, we'll still have a high draft pick to make a decision on. My personal opinion is these guys need 3 years to see if they can reach their potential. But the truth is you only get 2 in the new NFL.

And yet there are plenty of the failures still doing admirably out there today well past teams having given up on them completely. Gino, Carr, Mayfield, Fields, Love, Goff, Dalton, Darnold. They have not reached the lofty heights of their draft pick potential, but they have become average qb's that you can live with.

I disagree with some of the list although I agree with the 3 year sentiment.
I think Carr was doing what he’s doing now pretty much out the gate. NO got what he was in Oak, which wasn’t massive contract worthy.
Goff is doing great and did great in LA, not sure it took him 3 years.
Fields is still pretty pedestrian.
Love is at least another reflection of sitting their first full year. I suppose it does matter who they’re sitting behind though. If Levis played zero last season behind THill, I don’t believe much looks different.

To kind of contradict the 3 year premise, if levis continues as is, I don’t think he should get a 3rd year in TN.
Carr and Geno were also 2nd rounders vice the rest 1st.
