Personally I think he himself can play, but I also think the coaching staff will rest him one more week.

As they should. Remember our conversation over hamstring pulls? Another week of work and healing giving him some more confidence in his moves is good idea.

As a Titans fan, I've hated Hopkins for a long, long, long time. After last season, my opinion of him has thawed a bit.

If he does have a tear, better to rest him and have him later than to burn him out. He could be a difference maker later in the season if he's up to speed.

If it's a grade 1 or 2 he can probably play. Grade 3 he probably has a fair amount of pain to deal with. It doesn't sound like sitting him would help him heal any faster and no real risk of long-term injury. So if he feels comfortable playing, he should play.
