Dang, he lit him up didn't he?
I'm surprised he didn't mention his mama.

Just watch what being around Vince Young will do to Ty.

if he's going to rip the guy, he could at least get the facts right. he'll be an unresticted free agent this offseason.

"Now he's in the final year of his initial contract, which calls for a $460,000 base salary and would make him a restricted free agent next season."

he deserves it. He was called the next TO.
no he wasnt. he was compared to TO because he's big, fast, and came out of a small school in tennessee.it seems like every year there are one or two receivers who are labled as the next TO.

Nobody can defend (credibly anyway) Calico. BUM WHEELS, BAD HANDS= Huge BUST. He hasn't done jack to warrant his roster spot- especially if he IS STILL dropping uncovered passes.

Cut him and move on.

Yes they can.

Is it Ty's fault that Roy Williams horsecollar tackled him and sprained both his knees? And is it his fault that the Titans rushed him back onto the field and worsened the injury before he was out for the year? The answer to both questions is NO. His hands were fine before the injury. He was on his way to a breakout year. He was looking like an All-Pro in preseason that year. He has since reverted back to his rookie year mistakes with concentrating on catching the football. He didn't trust his knees out there last year and it showed. His problem last year was just as much a mental one as it was a physical one.

Even before looking very good before the 04 season, he made some big plays in 03. There's potential there if he's 100% healthy again.

Of course they hands are the worrisome part. Not enough practice? Still thinking about the backseat of his SUV and some hottie? :brow:

I bet he's on the roster this year with 7 wr's.

We have got to encourage this guy and really hope to see some results on the field. That look on his mug there in the sports card seriously makes me re-evaluate where this guy's head is at in spite of some comments by members in this thread. Dude really looks as if he isn't sure of what day it is, nor does he care. How many babies' mamas does this guy take care of anyways? What is he paying out? I don't have any first hand experience with half sibling offspring myself... I have no personal knowledge that TY does. I'm just saying it makes his space cadet approach (again, as described by other opinions) a bit more understandable if he's got 3-5 support checks going out...

just another made up excuse - hard luck in the real world.

That sure sounds like a hard bust story. No one is a bust until they are cut. Then it becomes official. One day Calico will be available to anyone willing to take him off waivers.

I'm not quite ready to toss him to be honest. He's had some bad circumstances, and it's because of a bad injury that wasn't his fault, and then the Titans staff rushing him back for who know's what reason. Then again, this is a business and we have a surplus. I want to see what he can do in more camps before I make any judgements.
