Your my boy Blue!

Thanks for all of the memories, all of the playoff runs. I remember defending the draft of a Div 3 QB to the bitter end w/ friends. You were way better then people were giving you credit out of college. I hope you end your career with dignity.

And November 12th will be a day of reckoning. OURS! Steve has spent 11 years watching our team and how Fisher coaches and how our D is handled. He is teamed with his old #1 receiver and he is playing at his home for the last 11 seasons. He is going to cut us up like fresh sushi and server our D slightly chilled and he will be wearing purple when he does it. :sad2:

Young just better be worth it. He looked good in college but that amounts to a whole lot of nothing when it comes to the NFL especially at the QB position. Play talk and play is what people listen too. Now with no McNair all the pressure gets shifted to Young. Produce or get boo'ed.

Picking up Collins would only compound mistakes.

Steve didn't play for a division 3 school. It was Alcorn State which is 1-AA. No way a top draft pick would ever be playing in division 3.

I thought he brought them from I-AAA to I-AA? I think I used the wrong name though.

I don't think Mac will but I sure do think Derrick Mason just became one of the league's best recievers again. Crap, and Todd Heap catches anything thrown his way.

IF...... Mc is able to get the snap

back to our normal lives now and time for life to move on

i'll support this team no matter what

the team is now moved on, time for the rest of Mini-camps and then its TC. Volek and Young will have the whole offseason to jel with the receivers which will help a lot. It'll be interesting to watch VY and Billy in the preseason though. Hope, Givens, Mawae, and Thornton should help the team tremendously. Its time for the running game to step up...

Figured it was coming, but I still hate to see it, especially the way it ended. :sad2:

Thanks for the memories Mac, and I'll still wear my #9 jersey from time to time.

Well, I have to say, it must be me. My four jerseys are: Mac, Eddie, Frank, and the Freak. Everytime I buy a freaking jersey, the guy leaves the team within 2 years!

(Maybe I should've bought a False Start Fred jersey in 2000...)

I will say this, though: I may risk it again to get a #25 jersey. It's a risk I'm willing to take.

Does anyone else really want to win the game against the Ravens this season?...or is it just me?!?! :greedy:

Now, we are officially rebuilding for the future!
The building on the property has been destroyed, we must now lay the bricks and the foundation!

Alright man maybe you need to turn your name into Blazing Ratbird and go join the ratbird forum with that type of attitude. U need to understand something the team gets the wins not the single player.

I dont know what to say. Steve was the man. But Atleast We have a YOUNGer version of him HOPEFULLY. And We Have The RB in WHite to be his EG

Sad day emotionally great day business wise frees up cap space and we get at least a 4th. Any chance we look at the Brooks kid from Virgina in the supplemental draft with this 4th. I love McNair but I hate the Ravens more I hope they lose every game.

Being a fan does not mean I am not realistic. Smells like a Gruden vs. the Faiders super bowl to me.

Personally I would love to see Mason go on an out route to the Raven sidelines and bowl through the whole Ravens coaching staff finally spearing Butt-Lick in the chest with his helmet (kind of like in the Water Boy but with more blood and carnage). After which Mason stand up drop kicks McAllister and says "That for your comments about Eddie a few years back! Now who’s soft?". Then both McNair and Mason pull there purple jerseys off and jog over to our sidelines.

But again reality sets in.

Same. Eddie, then McNair.

A #25 maybe in my future. I can not remember how many times I wore the McNair jersey inside out to try to rally the troops the last two seasons. The McNair jersey went to Oakland and survived (though we got killed). RIP Titans#9

Two seasons ago McNair was leveled and had that sternum injury. It was still in ? last season. IMO he was not playing at 100% either of the last two years. This year is his time to prove it and his sternum injury should be long gone.

I can still picture Mac grabbing at his chest pads trying to get his wind back every time someone hit him.

It seems like national media people are like politicians they just go with the best angle to gain popular opinion regaurdless of what's really going on. Fact is, Mac hasn't played very well over the last couple seasons and his cap number is way to high. So, do we re-sign him to a rediculous amount and take our usual chances on him getting injured (which usually happens), or do we take a chance with a back up and a rising star. It's defenately a coin toss but, who knows, it may pay off... I haven't seen anyone who doesn't like Mac but there are several that feel he's definately over the hill and needs to move on. Personally, I think he can still be productive and I would've rather seen stay for another two years but I can undrerstand both sides.
