No doubt. They're just really fun. Definitely have that feel of those 80's/early 90s action movies I grew up loving.

It's a pretty bad movie with really contrived and forced "conflict" that never really hits the mark. That said, if you are just looking for some laughs you could do a lot worse. The stellar cast does their best to save it. It has its moments. It's a 2.5/5 for me though.
he is, doesnt mean it should be tolerated, much less encouraged like it has been.
The only mod who apparently pays attention to this thread is cruds so I don't expect anything to ever happen about it.
I'm sure this thread is just gonna go off the rails again this summer when Guardians/Spiderman/etc. hit.

I have him on ignore. Every once in awhile though I think "Maybe he's over his crybaby tantrum and actually has something worthwhile to say." Wrong every time. That's on me I guess.
When a mod intentionally derails a thread for the same exact reasons I suppose it's tough to "discourage" other members from doing the same.
i like cruds and all, value his opinion on many things, but it is not right.
I hate when I buy movies that end up being forgettable. I'm a movie collector so not renting is the down side to it.
I used to be a big time DVD collector. I had over 1200 at one time. Lots of trash in that collection lol.
I miss being able to sell DVDs... buy one cheap, if it sucks sell it. Otherwise, keep it.
I did get Band of Brothers on DVD in the tin at Great Escape. Best purchase ever. Got it pretty cheap.
