Nande strong points and weak points...

Strength is his strong point. He can bench press 520 pounds and squat over 600.

Speed, he runs a 4.5 40 comparable or better than many linebackers taken in the first 3 rounds.

Production, he had 8 games with double digit tackles.

Hunger; he comes from a poor enviroment and should be driven to succeed. No prima donna this kid.

Weak points? The liver injury which raises minor future health issues and kept him from having a banner final season.

He supposedly has some problems over running plays and sheding blockers. I think this is BS because you don't make hundreds of tackles if you have those problems.

The MAC, his awesome production is less impressive than if he had played in the big ten.

Finally his height. At 6 ft even he is 2-3 inches shorter than most top prospects. Of course AJ hawk is only an inch taller and he was the top LB prospect. Anyway because of his height he is viewed more as a weak side guy.

In summary it seems like we got a 3rd rd prospect in rd 5. I know that is cliche but his athletic ability is 2nd rd caliber and even with the height and health issues he seems like a steal where we got him. A better value i think than tulloch.

I like guys with an incentive to win, guys who have come from poor backgrounds and gone on to make something our of their lives, if Terna Nande is as good as the stats say he is, then I'm excited..................................a bit.
