Anybody watch Mad Men? I just recently finished up the series finale and was curious on people's thoughts. Didn't see a thread about it.
There was a little talk about it several pages back after it aired. I thought the finale was really solid. I was getting worried as I was watching the clock and waiting for something to happen but I think they wrapped up the Don Draper character perfectly with those final scenes.

Overall I thought it was an excellent series although I can see how it's not for everyone.

I finally got around to watching the last two seasons of The Office. The first season without Michael Scott wasn't awful, but there was definitely something missing. The last season was bad.

All that said, I thought the finale was great.

Anyone watching Wayward Pines? Im starting to think i got myself into a Lost type of tv show. Making **** up as they go.
I watch it. Honestly, I would've given up on it weeks ago but my wife seems to enjoy it for some reason. Only a couple episodes left at this point so might as well see how they wrap it up. I'm hoping the ending is spectacular and really makes the clusterf*** of a ride worth it. I won't be holding my breath though.

I was disappointed with the Key & Peele premiere. I feel like that show started to fall off last year and if this premiere is any indication then the new season is continuing that trajectory.

Also Hannibal Burress' new show was pretty rough. He's one of the best standups in the game right now but that was a mess.

Hannibal Burress essentially parlayed calling Bill Cosby a rapist in to getting a show on CC. Everyone respected his game, but he fucking blew up when that happened.

When Robert California stared at Dwight and dissected him was priceless.

Dwight: What are you looking at? Stop trying to figure me out!
Robert: I already did.

The greatest Robert quote to me was, "Some of you are winners, and some of you are losers. Winners prove me right, losers prove me wrong"

The Office jumped the shark when Pam and Jim hooked up.
After how ever many more seasons the shark grew old and died and another shark was jumped after Michael left.
I painfully endured this show til the end for the wife's benefit.
One season of Robert California was the saving grace.

WOW True Detective episode was epic.

Really?

I still didn't think it was that good. The directing and acting just isn't even remotely near what it was in the first season... which I expected. It jumps all over the place and doesn't flow very well.

If it weren't for the first season, I honestly probably would've stopped watching at this point (or loosely watched the rest of the season for sh*ts and gigs). It's just not very good IMO.

I'm glad something big finally happened and I could feel it coming, but that final scene felt forced and was a bit over the top IMO.
