Oh okay, that's another I need to watch. I thought someone told me S1 was on Netflix but I looked last night and didn't see it.

On my DVR.... haven't watched yet.

So... Into The Badlands...

Acting was... adequate to bad.
Story was underdeveloped - way too early.
Action is fun... which it should be.

Only real thing that draws me back is... what resides outside the Badlands.

My theory:

The Badlands are a piece of land separated from surrounding countries that are developed and making progress in a post-apocalyptic world. The Barons of this land chose to maintain a rather archaic lifestyle - hence no guns, just hand weapons.

Think Middle East countries compared to the rest of the world, but without the oil.

For the sake of some non-superhero discussion and since me and Vondy were just discussing it in the shoutbox.... anyone who's watching AHS have any theories as to who the killer is?

We both think it could be the main cop dude. But part of me thinks that's such a cheap and overplayed reveal that the writers would(/should) know better.

I think that was a given when they invited him to the serial killer suare .
That said, it is AHS and they fly by the seat of their pants on all the writing.
