Esteban, when all is said and done, you'll see that Daredevil was much, much heavier on the action.
I haven't read the comics but from what I've heard about them it seems like they've toned the story down quite a bit for the show.
Not really sure I agree with that. I agree that it's not your traditional "supes" show but "horror" is pretty low on the list of words I'd use to describe it. And IMO it's not even in the same ballpark as torture porn like Saw.

I was referring less to the torture porn than I was the psychological element. The theme of forced violence against one's will permeates both.
I hear ya. I do wish they would've went just a bit darker with JJ but I can understand they probably didn't want the different Marvel shows to have drastically different tones.
With the show i think they wanted to focus less on the rape itself and more on the impact and distress that it had on JJ. Which i am fine with either way we got quite a bit darker of a story than what i expected while it was toned done it was no where near as toned down as i thought it would be.
Looks too good honestly. It's probably going to be shit like AOU.

The Russo Brothers are in charge of this one, not Whedon, it's going to be great. Even James Gunn has said the Marvel people have been raving over it. Which they didn't do for AoU.
Also, trailer didn't really show anything. No Baron Zemo, glimpse of Martin Freeman, glimpse of Crossbones, and a couple kicks and 5 seconds of Cap/Bucky fighting Iron Man. I do wish, with it being a teaser, it was a bit shorter. Marvel really needs to ease up on how much they show, they need to go the Star Wars route.

Ugh. Please no. I loved the show overall but it should've ended 2 or 3 years sooner as it is.

is Dexter worth watching? I watched a few minutes of an episode and the guys monotone narration bored the interest outta me
