I loved reading those Chris Brown trade reports. (I'll skip the "I told you so")
Brown was the best RB we had in 2005 which doesn't say much. Everytime he was knocked to the ground you could hear a collective prayer, "Oh please, let him get up."
Aug 13, 05 it was his hamstring
Sep 18, 05 it was a concussion
Oct 23, 05 it was his shoulder
Nov 27, 05 it was his ankle
Dec 16, 05 it was his elbow
Dec 21, 05 it was his shoulder again
Dec 24, 05 sat out 4th with an injury I can't remember
He had potential, the injuries got in the way.

because he was 6'2" and couldnt get much leverage as a blockeraloving77 said:Slightly off the subject, but why wasnt Eddie George every moved to full back? he wouldn't do much now, but he could always fall forward for a couple of yards back in the day.
travis henry and lendale will split the carries....
brown will be traded...

Lendale should rule the day. I think he's going to be a bad ars and it seems like running back is a pretty easy position to come in and play immediately as long as he can learn the blocking schemes fast enough. Seeing how he's played under the Chow system before I'd say it shouldn't take him long to get comfortable.
We'll see what Lendale can do.............
In the mean time Brwon should be our #1 Rusher, our guy at that position, I remember Fisher saying the same thing.

SF
After his 2005 performance, I can't think of too many teams that would want to keep him............including the Titans.

They won't. They are happy with Barlow and Gore.

SF, NYJ, Houston, and Denver........
I'd say the Jets are realistically the only team that would take Henry from that list.
We should wait on how White heals from the injury before trading anyone...
I know its nothing of an injury, but just in case...

That's only if he's here. Looks like they're trying to make a trade for Brown. Besides, I think Lendale will end up being a better everyday back.LazyManJackson said:We'll see what Lendale can do.............

brown is in the last year in his contract and the FO isnt going to let him go for nothing after the season, so there going to try and trade him now since his value is still up there somewhat so we can get a player or pick from another team...

I would love for that to happen...I never have liked Henry..
What in Henry's game is bad (question for those bashing him)? I would prefer to keep the combo of Brown/White as opposed to Henry/White just based on how their strengths match up. But Henry didn't just turn into a bad rb last year. I am curious so see how he'll do since he's slimming down.

I hadn't heard about him slimming down. Heck, he was only 220.
yeah he was a little heavy last season and has trimmed down his body fat, i think he's around 215 right now

I hope that's for lack of the munchies.bulluck4dMVP said:yeah he was a little heavy last season and has trimmed down his body fat, i think he's around 215 right now

How do you know he was 220? Lots of times guys are at different weights than their listed weight. Anyway, he looked bigger to me last year, and according to a Titans' scout, he was and is trimming back down.
O.K. enough with the Travis Henry bashing. Apparently he is who the Titans have chosen and it appears that Brown is out the do'. Honestly, has Brown given the team any true production over the course of the 16 game schedule?
I'm just being real here, because I really like C.B. and he's really a cute and sweet guy. He just isn't the best choice as a franchise back.
