The Pac 12 died and the Big 12 is probably closer to mid-major at this point . We also get the first year of a 12 team playoff.
I will say one thing about the new playoff, I expect a lot more complaining about who does and doesnt make it.

Ultimately the SEC and big 10 will split off. It'll be fun until people realize It'll be a lot of mediocre football. Just another xfl or whatever it's called now.
I don’t like the conference mergers but I do like the playoff expansion.
My biggest beef was always that college considered the “power 5” differently than the rest.
I get why but that just eliminated ANY chance for a non-power 5.
Just like college BB, even the garbage conference get a rep with a chance, nevermind how small a chance.

The smaller teams will get boat raced, but i agree a shot should be had. They play games for a reason.
College football went away a while ago. I am not sure what it is today but it is not college football from thirty years ago.
At a minimum, I’m ready to see the expanded playoffs.College football went away a while ago. I am not sure what it is today but it is not college football from thirty years ago.
Not really thrilled with the merge to basically 2 conferences.
Nothing is the same as it was thirty years ago. College football is still more fun than the NFL.College football went away a while ago. I am not sure what it is today but it is not college football from thirty years ago.
The kid at qb for the vols looks good so far. Lotta hype around him for a couple years now
Week 1, not the most competitive games, but PSU 1-0.
Oregon really struggling is quite surprising
Michigan look like shit too today. If they don't play way better fast, Texas is gonna smoke em
its harder when the other team gets to run plays that michigan dont know is comingMichigan look like shit too today. If they don't play way better fast, Texas is gonna smoke em
Saw a stat where it was like the first time one of the power conferences had 4 teams win by 60 plus on the same day or something. Tennessee, Ole Miss, Bama, and Auburn all won by 60 plus
Side note: wasn't by 60 plus but UGA also manhandled Clemson
