SUMMARY: The Titans will open the 2006 season playing host to the New York Jets at LP Field Sunday. Both teams have 0-0 records and the winner will be above a .500 winning percentage for perhaps the last time this year. Each finished with a 4-12 record last year.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher hasn’t named his starting quarterback yet, but the choice is widely expected to be 12-year veteran Kerry Collins.

"Expected Strategies
The Jets don’t have any real offensive threats, so the Titans will pressure Pennington with blitzes all day. "

HA! fat chance.

If Jimbo finds a blitz that works he'll go on the Tilt with it. I can see how that could be mistaken for a strategy.

Gotta try a Blitz to find one that works.

I say Jimbelina is yelling Eqyptian Caculas at Robaire Smith and Albert Haynesworth by about the 8:00 minute mark of the first quarter. Haynesworth already stated he is not coachable on game day. BTW why on earth would someone make such a statement?

But I digress - Jimbelina will be yelling all he wants but the uninspired D will give up however many points is necessary to assure defeat in the 4th quarter.

Maybe they are gonna use the f-22 raptor jets that are gonna buzz the stadium in their stradegy somehow...:grrhee: :brow: :))
