I was talking about Al Ghoul:cool:

But yea it was Scarecrow and I thought begins was an excellent film with solid characters all around. It is just really hard to top two very big ones in Joker and Two Face, not to mention Ledger's amazing performance.

Ra's All Ghul is rumored to be back in Rises

Ledger's performance put TDK over Begins, Begins was a better "Batman" movie IMO.

TDK was just an excellent film that happened to have Batman in it.

The Avengers 8/10. I was pissed they made Fury black, but ole' Sammy fit perfectly. Couldn't help but see Hawk Eye as The Scarecrow (OZ) during the movie. Captain America sucks. I lol'd when The Hulk punched Thor.. grunting ftw.

Prometheus was OK. 7.0/10 I have so many questions unanswered, though.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Ok.. WHY did the engineers decide to send these WMD's to earth? Why would they create/plant us on Earth, and then decide to destroy us? And exactly how did they get set loose in the first place?

What was the point of having Charlize Theron be the old farts daughter? It added absolutely nothing to the story..

So.. robot infects first guy, first guy bangs chick... chick pops out an octopus..WTF? Why did the robot infect the guy, anyways?

So.. after THAT guy gets sick, they torch him... and he comes back as a Peyton Manning gigantic forehead lookalike with super strength. I don't understand.

The stuff they found.. it isn't xenomorphs, right? Is this a entirely different alien species?

Hate movies that don't answer sh#t.

Oh... and how did the Engineer survive the crash at the end?

My theory:
Vickers isn't a real daughter... she's a robot too, but a later model that doesn't know it. Notice David also refers to Weyland as a parent. David 8 and Vickers seem to have a sibling rivalry going on. She is strong enough to overpower him, and humans cannot overpower androids. She has a custom-built escape pod with a medical bay which doesn't work on women. And even though she's apparently unable to run sideways to avoid being crushed, I'm guessing she survives- because she's an android- and goes chasing after with Engineer Ship #3. And why does she think she's human?...because her projection walls constantly replay her embedded memories for support.

Yeah, the film leaves a lot of questions.... a bunch of unreasonable, senseless and silly questions:

Batman and Batman Returns were pretty good.

Forever and Robin were horribly camp.

Agreed, Forever and B and A were both god awful but I prefer Returns and Batman 89 over Begins and TDK. Batman in those movies is much more mysterious and stays in the shadows just like he does in the comics. Also the music in those movies IS BATMAN

89 and Returns are terribly dated.

There are films that hold up over the years and neither of these do. Returns portrayal of The Penguin was so over the top he would have fit in better with Freeze and Ivy in Batman and Robin. It is cheesy and awful.

89 is a better film and Jack's version of the Joker is amazing. The film still has some questionable plot points and dialogue but it is overall fun to watch still.

Returns is not a complete train wreck but it is pretty bad. Not Forever or B&R bad but close.

Can we get some love for The Mask of the Phantasm? Might be the best animated superhero movie ever and in the top 5 Batman films.

Return of the Joker is pretty good also. (Batman Beyond) Highly underrated.

Both animated films are better than Returns.

I do like Returns, but only because of Devito. I feel that Penguin is a character that is near impossible to pull off and he did a good job. Catwoman was near perfect as well. I honestly think that people like it just because Burton had his name on it. Not a terrible film, but some of the acting was suspect.

I actually thought Jack was a horrible Joker. Just not sinister enough, and I thought that before TDK.

I totally prefer the Nolan films to any of the others. Ledger's Joker is one of the best portrayals of any "comic" character ever put on film. Hardcore Batman fans dislike TDK because the movie is really about the Joker. When you go back and watch it you realize how little Batman is in film.

I think it is a shame that WB will be rebooting after Rises.

I hope they wait awhile to do it and also base it more on the comics. Nolan's real world approach has been amazing but I would like to see more theatrics while keeping the tone extremely dark. Make it more like the comics or ever better.... the Arkham games have shown you can be faithful to the source material and also have a serious tone.

IMO the Penguin should be more of a bizarre crime lord. Not so over the top...

I prefer the Nolan films more than anything. He seems to put background into the characters which really puts you into the story.

I know, for whatever reason, people do not like Ledger's Joker. Your guess is as good as any, I just don't see how people can't view it as brilliant.

I would really like to see some of the graphic novels come to life. The Killing Joke or The Long Halloween would be really great to see.

I just really see it hard to pull off a realistic Penguin. I thought that was about as well as it could be done.

The Long Halloween would be awesome.

I think it is safe to say the next Batman will be part of the DC film universe they are rumored to be creating like Marvel did.

This years Superman is supposed to be the first I believe. The next Batman will have to be a bit less reality based...

Personally I hope Batman dies at the end of Rises. I think it would be a fitting end to the series.

I don't think he will die, but if you are familiar with his history with Bane, you would know that he..........

Potentially lame spoiler......probably not but just in case.

Bane breaks Batman's back in the comics. I think you could end it with something like that and that could pretty much end it. Since Nolan focuses on realism, I think it is safe to assume that you could not carry on with having your back broken.

Kryptonite can heal Batman since he is of the night. And it hurts Superman, cause he needs the sun.

Wait, maybe thats Captain Planet.
