Starks may start in week 1, but it will be Robaire in the long run.
Will Not Matter...
Both guys will get roughtly the same number of reps. That's the beauty of the whole thing..

I think Starks will start but eventually Smith will be the starter.
Same here.
They'll give Smith some time to refamiliarize himself with the defense. I'll say Smith is starting about a month into the season.

I agree totally. This provides a great rotation.RollTide said:Both guys will get roughtly the same number of reps. That's the beauty of the whole thing..
The Jets don't have a running game, so Starks starts (Haha).
Too bad for the Jets, that Pennington is gonna be hurt already in week 1. With no QB, no RB new system on off. and def., I predict them to win 1 game.

Agreed.
I have a feeling we will play by comity. Starks on passing downs, Smith on running downs. It should make our 3rd and short downs allot easier with a big guy to force the run to the outside where Bulluck and Thornton can gobble up tackles. It should also help the MLB position by taking pressure off the up the gut run stop.
Sirmon needs all the help he can getat MLB.

What's really sad about that...If you're a Jets fan is..They have a pretty easy schedule...If we had their schedule, I could see 8 fairly easy wins, and several more that would be very possible.
