1989. Washington - Art Monk, Gary Sanders, Ricky Clark.

2004 Inidanapolis. - Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stokely.

2008 Arizona - Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, Steve Breaston

Two other teams have had a trio with either a TE or RB as the 3rd. 1980 Chargers with Kellen Winslow at TE and 1995 Falcons with Eric Metcalf as RB.

Many teams have had a 900 yard receiving trio, but almost all of them had at least one TE Or RB as part of the group. The only team to have a 900 yard (but not 1000) all WR trio was the Houston Oilers, and they did it twice in 1990 and 1991. Haywood Jeffires, Drew Hill, and Ernest Givens. Givens came up 21 yards short of 1k in 1990, and only 4 yards short in 1991.

That brings me to the question... Given a 17 game schedule, will the Tennessee Titans finally get their 1K WR trio? Let's discuss.

And just to make it interesting, I'll add a poll. Make your prediction now.

It’s certainly possible, but unlikely given Henry’s dominance and how our offense works. Let’s not forget Firk, Dez and Evans will get targets too.

I'm pretty sure that 85% 9f the touches on offense are being spread out between Henry, Brown, and Julio. I doubt that the touches Reynolds gets will allow him to crack 800 yards.

Does acquiring Julio Jones take some of the workload off Henry? I think it might. We no longer need 2K from Henry to have a dominant offense. Save him for the stretch run and playoffs. Get him 1600 to 1700 yards.

We don't have a superstar TE to demand targets.

Reynolds benefits from having Jones or Brown out there, and there will be times where Reynolds has only one of those guys on the field with him. There will be a rotation.

There will be games where Brown or Jones need to rest/heal. Even if they miss a few games, those guys probably get over 1K. Reynolds will pick up some good numbers on those games.

17th game added to the schedule means averaging 59 yards per game gets you to 1K.

I think getting 3WR over 900 is actually pretty likely. 1000 may be tough, but not as ridiculous as a few of you seem to think. IMHO

This is a major leap. What’s the best a WR3 on our team has done before? This would mean a new season best for the Titans offense, Tannehill, and Reynolds. We’ve not even had 2 WRs with 1k before, most time not even 1. There’s a decent chance AJ and Julio both hit it this year, but I’ll guess Reynolds is closer to 600 than he is 1k.

Yeah I mean it’s a pipe dream but very very overly
optimistic that 3 WRs get those #s when usually one doesn’t even get those #s on the Titans. Just not how their offense works. Henry.

Gotta temper expectations my man - it will be super fun no doubt and unlike any other recent Titans memory but 3 WRs ain’t getting 1K+. Honestly doubt even two do - let’s just enjoy the ride.

Titans have had exactly 1 season with 2 1K WR. They’ve had a total of 0 4K QBs.

No chance they get 3.
While I’m am expecting the first 4K QB, I don’t see a third WR get even close to 1K, I’m not even certain they reach 2, but the extra game helps those odds.

I’ll guess now that the third top receiving target ends with 600 or less.

Last year AJB 1075, Corey Davis 984 ... in 16 games. That equates to 1142 and 1045 in 17 games.

Having a hard time believing AJ Brown will regress and Julio < Davis. I know it's a stretch to get the 3rd guy to 900 or 1000, but man, if we can't even get the same production out of our 1 and 2 guys, we are in trouble this season.

No way we have three WR hit 1000. We just don’t throw the ball that much. I don’t expect us to rack up passing/receiving yards. I do expect us to have a deadly offense that puts significant stress on defenses and that will score a lot of points.

I don’t think we will have 3 1000 yard WRs, maybe 2, but we will have a deadly offense and Henry won’t be used quite as much. We will throw more. Tannehill will get somewhere in the mid 4000s passing yards.

Would be nice because that would mean Tannenhill threw the ball downfield more often, but I just don’t see that happening, especially with Henry getting his carries. I could see AJ and Julio cracking 1.000 but no way all 3

IMO, and that is all it is...

T17 will be smart enough to attack what the D chooses to give him... and I see lots of downfield shots because every team will stack that box vs DH22.

I know I would much rather get bombed on early on some 50/50s than get ran on allowing clock killing drive after clock killing drive.

While Titans are healthy, short of execution failures, I see zero reason why Titan O cannot dictate the games
