With the NFL adding a 17th game to the regular season, do you think any WR will hit 2,000 yards this year? Many have come close with Calvin Johnson getting 1,964 in 2012 and Julio getting 1,871 in 2015. With great young WR's such as Mike Evans, Tyreek Hill, Deandre Hopkins, AJ Brown, Michael Thomas, Davante Adams, DK Metcalf, and Stefon Diggs all in their prime is this the year one of them gets to 2,000? Answer poll!

Devonte Adams if arod sticks around is the best bet. Otherwise aj brown but I'd assume that would need a Derrick henry injury to come to fruition

I give it until next year. I also see Eric Dickerson’s record going soon. Hopefully Henry, but it will happen.

Plus, 4K passing yards is now like 2500, titans better get their first. Kind of ridiculous it hasn’t happened yet.

I voted AJ Brown because I want it to happen. But I think Minnesota’s Jefferson has the best shot. Dude put up almost 1,500 as a rookie! And now add in the extra game, he could have a real shot.

I can tell you who it won't be

AJ Brown

Kids phenomenal and all but #Titans

For real, AJ Brown is the most talented receiver in franchise history, and the only true #1 receiver we ever had besides Derrick Mason (who was a fringe #1 at best). All the obvious signs pointed to us getting another reliable receiver or tight end to help carry the load for Brown and we completely ignored that need. I just hope Brown's years here aren't wasted like what Houston did to Andre Johnson's career.

There won't be a 2000 yard receiver.

Most Receptions in a season & yards by those listed:

Deandre 115 for 1572
Tyreek 87 (x2) for 1479
DK 83 for 1303
AJ 70 for 1075
Dav 115 for 1374
Diggs 127 for 1535

It took slant route-Michael Thomas 149 receptions to reach 1.7k -- and even the Physical specimen Calvin Johnson only cracked 1964 on 122 receptions (both career highs)

At the going rate, each one of the ones listed above would need a shade under about 500 yards minimum that last game.... which btw, the nfl record is 336 (1989) by flipper anderson......

So shh in one hand, wish in the other...

Yea, I think there are about 20 different WRs who could break the all time record for yardage in a season.

A younger Julio or Calvin Johnson in his prime. Even with the extra game it is going to be tough. Andre Hopkins might be the best WR but who is throwing him the ball? Heck, AJ might have the best chance as anyone and I wouldn't bet on him.

It will be tough even with 17 games, to average 118 yds per game is alot...not saying it can’t or won't be done, as Calvin and Julio came close, it will be tough
