Now that the Panthers have signed Hartwig, would we take Nick Mangold in the second, should he still be available?
Of course, in my mind, this depends entirely on us signing a FA LB.

The Charlotte Observer has Hartwig signing with the Panthers "according to league sources"

The Tennessean.com was reporting that the Devil (rosenhaus) said Hartwig was signing with Carolina as well. He's "agreed in principle" to a long term deal....
Reese wont draft a pure Center... he'll draft a guard in the mid-to-late rounds and move him to Center so it creates value.Vigsted said:Now that the Panthers have signed Hartwig, would we take Nick Mangold in the second, should he still be available?

I agreeStarkiller said:Jacob Bell
a 2nd round pick is 2 valueable to take a center...i say we just put somebody else there or sign sombody
I'd like to see what Amano can do. Bell could get a shot too, but I think he'll get pushed around a lot one on one.
amano yea give that guy a shotBobo said:I'd like to see what Amano can do. Bell could get a shot too, but I think he'll get pushed around a lot one on one.
I'd let both of them compete for the job. Whoever doesn't start is the top backup for all 3 interior spots.

yea.....but we shouldnt waste a good 2nd round pick on a center!
Mangold certainly isn't a waste of a 2nd round pick. I just don't think we need him.
2nd round its going to be Hodge or Jackson. Or if one of the top safeties fall, possibly them.
i wouldnt mind mangold in the 2nd, although i would prefer a linebacker(jackson) or safety(donte whitner)
