Just happened to think about this and decided I'd share with you all.
Two years ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted a quarterback from a smaller school by the name of Ben Roethlisberger with 11th overall pick. The next season, their starting QB goes down, this rookie takes over and behind a strong running game and a great defense, the Steelers go 15-1. The next season they win the Super Bowl.
Fast forward to the 2006 draft. The Denver Broncos, a team who is known for their running game and defense, trade up and take a small school quarterback named Jay Cutler with the 11th overall pick. Interesting coincidence, huh? Could we be looking at another Big Ben?
Just thought I throw this out there and let yall chew on it.
