Brees has a torn labrum. Won't be able to throw for at least 4 months. According to Bongo, this is the same injury that ended Jim Miller's career, but Rich Gannon had the same thing and came back from it but it took a couple years, so who knows how it will turn out.
I'm betting the Chargers are no longer interested in moving Rivers, if they ever were.

There have been many QBs to succcessfully return from torn labrums. The key is the degree of the tear, according to an orthopedic specialist on gridscape(Volinbrentwood). This does force San Diegos hand somewhat. They won't deal Rivers but may release Brees.
Was his contract up this year too? Very bad if so.
I'd be for Titan's making an offer if it looks like there's a decent chance he could be back to normal after a year or two.

Hmmmmm........if the Bolts choose to let him walk, maybe.....maybe he looks at the Titans?
GLinks said:How cheap do you think he'd come?
guess it depends on recovery and how long he is out for.
amazing how one week we're talking about trading for Rivers
the next we're talking about Brees
just like last year
when we were selecting Aaron Rodgers
then we were going to select Alex Smith
crazy talk,..... it's all crazy talk
