Davidson promoted to assistant head coach for Browns
With several other teams interested in hiring Jeff Davidson as offensive coordinator, the Cleveland Browns on Saturday rewarded the standout offensive line coach by promoting him to assistant head coach.
It is not known if Davidson got a contract extension in conjunction with the promotion, but it is believed he received a salary increase.
