This is based on the player consistently putting up numbers, or just doing their job to a tee regardless of team change, Team record, Staff change, Off-field problems, position etc.
The most consistent since 2000 and no later than 2002
1. Peyton Manning
2. Harrison
3. L.T
4. Holt
5. Gonzalez
6. Alexander
7. Faneca (guard for the Steelers)
8. Jones (Tackle for the Hawks)
9. Lo Neal (This guy makes great blocks constantly)
10. C. Martin (If he gets a thousand this year)
Defensive players
1. Donnie Edwards
2. Simeon Rice
3. Zach Thomas
4. Dwight Freeney
5. Brian Dawkins
6. Sam Adams
7. Ronde Barber
8. John Henderson
9. Anthony McFarland
10. Todd Sauerbrun (Yea a punter)

I'd probably put Matt Stover in there somewhere (for offense). He's hit about 87% of his FGs since 2000.
How bout Akers or VanderjagtBroken Record said:I'd probably put Matt Stover in there somewhere (for offense). He's hit about 87% of his FGs since 2000.
Pretty good list. Take Gonzalez off that though (says the bitter Fantasy owner; duke is garbage this year). I wouldn't put Neal on the list either and Martin is WAAAAAAAAAY too low IMO.
Donnie Edwards? Not #1. And Ray Lewis isn't on there? I watch him every week, he's a model of consistency. Gotta disagree with you on those points.

Ray has been hurt so he can't go on there.KamikaZ said:Pretty good list. Take Gonzalez off that though (says the bitter Fantasy owner; duke is garbage this year). I wouldn't put Neal on the list either and Martin is WAAAAAAAAAY too low IMO.

Man Donnie does it through team changes, not having dominant DT's still makes plays.
isnt a punter Technically on offense?
what about Tank? he consistently blows plays all the time...
but not a bad list, cant disagree with many of them.

Believe me, I hate Patriots worse than most of you hate the Colts, but shouldn't Tom Brady get some consideration? He had a horrible game a couple weeks ago, but that is more worth noting because of how rare it is. Dude is money in the bank.
Also, I'm guessing Priest didn't make it due to injury? I can see that.
Overall, very nice list. The addition of Walter Jones was genius. The guy is flat out sick.

I don't have time to add up all the numbers right now, but there might be a case for Vanderjagt. Akers has been great, but I think he's having an off year this year on FGs (maybe 65% or so).
