NO matter how bad i want Vince, Cutler is looking better and better to me. He has a cannon (vince does too) and is able to move (which is Vince's specialty) but the reason i think he is our pick (even tho i still want vince) is he may fit into our offense better. Our coaches dont coach mobile QBs well (trying to make McNair more of a pocket passer when his attributes favor another offense)

I just have this very strong feeling that we will be drafting Culter this year. His stock just keeps on rising. And I am getting more and more on board with that pick.

vince is the glamour pick reminds me of san diego i think it was trading their pick to atlanta and atl getting vick if we dont take young and he's a superstar we get second guessed like crazy (if they take cutler and he's good but not great) or if we trade down get hawk or williams or whoever then we get second guessed if we take young and he underachieves then we are in the could woulda should have bracket but the draft is a crap shoot l.ets hope we dont come out snake eyes

mike mayock was talking about how the qb signings in free agency will affect the draft. he said tennessee will either pick leinart, or cutler "most people think it's cutler."

I bet Matt and Vince are thinking, "Whoops. I didn't see that coming." They could be wishing they attended the Combine after all now.

Chris Mortensen had this to say in an ESPN Insider article:
Let's get something straight right off the mark. This is not a knock against Matt Leinart or Vince Young. This also is not a knock against my colleague and friend Mel Kiper Jr., our ESPN draft scout, who does a terrific job.

However, this I'm pretty sure about: Jay Cutler of Vanderbilt is the best quarterback available for the NFL draft come April.

I am not alone. A bunch of NFL scouts are whispering the same thing during Senior Bowl week in Mobile, Ala. Some of those even will put out some "negatives" on Cutler deliberately in hopes that he'll drop a little in the draft. It's not going to work.

I couldn't read the rest because I don't pay for insider, but it's clear Mayock is not the only guy who likes Cutler a lot.

I love Jay, but I just have a feeling we'll end up disappointing a lot of Vandy fans and get Vince or Matt. My heart says Jay, but my brain says Vince.

Leinart is still going to the Saints. The terms in Brees contract is filled with some high bonuses already after one year (or is it two?), which aren't gonna be paid out. It's in the range 15-17 million.

Word has it that the Saints' are high on Cutler. The funny thing is... I've been selling Cutler all year. I even stated " wait until the Senior Bowl, Combine and his Pro-day. " and a lot of people who want him now are the same people who said I didn't know what I was talking about and flipped out on me when I said Young isn't a top 10 pick. Cutler has that Farve, Elway nack about him and I would have no problem swaping picks with the Saints' to make sure we get him.

Mort also said Matt Jones was the best player in the draft last year.

The only opinion that matters is that of the titans staff.

I have a hard time believing we'll trade up for him, that being said... I think Reese/Fisher are going in with the midset of which ever one is still there, ie: Leinart or Cutler is who they'll go with. Assuming there's a scenario of the Saints' taking one or a team trade w/Saints' to get either Leinart or Cutler. The real fun begins if they're both still on the board come our 3rd slot.

I think I have just added Jay Cutler to the list of picks I'd be just fine with drafting at #3 overall. I'm not in favor of trading up for any player... even Bush because I know the price is too high...

Jay Cutler at #3...ok...go Titans!
Matt Leinart at #3...ok...go Titans!
Vince Young at #3...ok...go Tetinz!

no trading up and no gopeyton.com...
btw- "gopeyton.com" is an open domain...please no!!!
