SUMMARY: With the vets at Baptist Sports Park today, Titans Coach Jeff Fisher is setting the pace as the free agents are already beginning to show an impact. "It's a good thing, no one is standing up and making an obvious attempt to show the rest of the guys the way, but in their own way they've had an impact here," said Fisher. One player not in attendance this week is QB Steve McNair. "It's been a difficult situation that I've talked about since day one," Fisher said. "It's different not having him out here under center, but hopefully we can get things worked out as soon as we can." LB Peter Sirmon has moved to the middle and appears to be adjusting well. "We've been working well enough together that everybody has a pretty good idea of what we're doing," said Fisher. "Pete can anticipate things and make those subtle reminders, the same thing he did before he got hurt when he was on the field in nickel and dime."

just being a veteran doesn't necessarily make you a team leader, especially with a new team. it's great to have some experience at some key positions and i hope they can get acclaimated to the new digs, but it would be GREAT to see one of these guys really step up and take the reins as a voice in the locker room. bulluck needs some help.

Out of this entire report, that's the headline? That was one comment, based on a direct question. Fisher is clearly more focused on getting the new vets infused, and had a lot of other positive things to say. Who makes up the headlines?
