Guido & Vinnie......AGAIN?

Got yet another call from Vegas, Guido & Vinnie are hinting about Super Bowl odds. They mentioned Pittsburgh as the favorite so far, as long as Big Ben does not get run over by a Bus or any other freak accident. Even though both Carolina and Denver took equal beatings, Pittsburgh came in as a #6 Wildcard and took care of the NFLs #1, #2 and #3 teams. What will the odds be, they wouldn't say.
________
OSTEOPOROSIS ADVICE

I'm going with Pittsburgh whom I thought would win it all last year. I think they are better offensively and defensively than Seattle.
I am, however, somewhat drawn to my decision as I spend the first 22 years of my life growing up in Pittsburgh under Bradshaw, Swann, Franco, Lambert and the Steel Curtain.
Who do I think will win the Super Bowl next year? Easy call,

SILVERSURFER VAPORIZER

I don't know if the Steelers will contend with Seattle's offensive line as well as people think. I think the Steelers should pull it off but it's going to be a field goal game, meaning it'll go down to the end. If I were a betting man, taking Seattle and the points (3.5 ?) may be the way I'd go.

Even the Titans played Seatle pretty tough. Once Pittsburgh stuffs the run against the Seahawks they'll be bamboozled. I predict a blow out. Maybe even three TD's. I don't see how Seatle is going to score against the Pitt D not to mention stop the Steeler O.

You never know what will happen, but the toughness and momentum definitely point to the Steelers. Based on what we've seen in the playoffs, one QB, who has previously done well up to this point, will tank. I wonder which one that will be.

Really, how could you not pull for the Steelers? This is the opportunity for Bettis to retire in the best way possible.... winning a championship in his hometown. Bettis is one of the NFL's best backs of all time (judging from his actions one AND off the field) and he has been a great role model. This cat deserves it.

Like most Oiler/Titans fans, I've never liked the Steelers. But you have to have a lot of respect for Bus and what that organization has done in the playoffs.

Come on Nigel. You know the Panthers had no running game last week. Smith had no shot.

That wasnt the Seahawks fault. Just like everyone says they had a soft schedule. Here's a news flash... you can only play the teams on your schedule. They did, and they went 13-3... and the last loss against GB hardly even counts. Still, all last week, you'd have thought #89 was the second coming of Jesus the way people were talking about him. And the Hawks held him to 33 yards receving.

I expect people to doubt the Hawks, I've been listening to them do it for the last 30 years. But come next Sunday, I'll be doing my best Aretha Franklin impersonation...
