SUMMARY: Titans assistant head coach/offense George Henshaw will not have his contract renewed after nine seasons with the team. Coach Jeff Fisher could not be reached for comment last night. The Titans are also looking to fill the quality control coaching position after not renewing the contract for Ned James last month. Henshaw and James are the only two coaches who didn't receive extensions after the team's 4-12 finish. Henshaw worked specifically with the tight ends who had their most successful season in team history.

why does this not make sense? There has to be something else that is not being said. Did Henshaw and Chow not get along?:sad2:

Maybe he wants to move on or maybe Chow is being pegged for an ***. HC position. In any case you can't really fire him for incompetence if he was responsible for our TE's, the best group on our entire team...

I've never heard of the man. looks like a big loss. He's not even a coordinator.

it was rumored last year that henshaw wanted to coach at FSU, where his son played.

I think if that was the reason they would have said so. Both sides have declined comments:banned:
