You can tell based on his reply how much the Titans getting bounced has caused J Rob to do some soul searching. I like that he is that emotionally invested in the teams success.

Saw this too and was about to post it
See Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson tear up in emotion-filled answer about 2021 season

If there’s one guy in the titans organization that cares about bringing home the Lombardi, it’s JRob. Not that I would ever have done otherwise, but this gave me more reason to root for him and the titans.

At least you can tell he gives a damn. That’s more than we’ve been able to say in a LONG time.

I think everyone in our organization knew this was our year

Almost don’t even want to get emotionally invested again knowing that it’s SB or bust at this point.

We’ve seen them get the number 1 seed and fall flat. Now next step is to get further. The regular season won’t end soon enough it feels like. Just get to the playoffs and win.

I’d almost feel better as a wild card…. What a gut punch

Feels like we're in a similar position to the Rams after the 2018 season. Obviously they lost in the Super Bowl, but their team was stacked outside of Goff. Hopefully we don't wait 2 more years to make a change at QB. I don't hold out much hope this off-season, but he should be easy to move on from next year. And if Rodgers isn't traded or signs a new contract in GB, then we'll be in a great position to throw the bank at him.

Looks like me when the Bengals kicked the game winning FG. That loss hurt me to the core.

Looked like me and my son when we watched RT throw his 3rd INT- the one on the game winning drive. The one where the ONE GD THING AS A QB YOU CAN NOT DO IN THAT SITUATION IS TURN THE BALL OVER TO THE OTHER TEAM.

I like that JRob is emotional. But let's be honest. He knows that opportunity is very very unlikely to be back around for awhile. Especially with our impending cap hell. And he probably had $50M dancing in the front of his mind while he was thinking about that game losing performance by a QB he signed.

This feels like playing a Dark Souls boss, and repeatedly dying as we do the same thing over and over and over again.

Now if we could just get our QB to be that emotional about losing.
Looking forward to seeing what the offseason brings

Having a short memory is an important asset for athletes as moping about a bad play negatively effects your performance. Tiger Woods has a 10 step rule to force himself to forget bad shots and that seems to have worked well for him.

Totally agree. One good thing about RT is that he does seem to move past a bad outcome. The bad thing is that he doesn't appear to learn from it.

Big difference between getting over a bad play or game than smirking immediately after an INT.

I'm sure RT has had a bunch of time to digest how his performance has effected his team. He may not say it to us, but i bet he's had to come to terms with how his poor performance cost his teammates. The thing to remember is KC only made it one game beyond the Titans, losing to the same Bengals. Those guys lost to a team that RT helped level in the regular season- without Henry. His performance in the divisional round was bad, but it seems too easy to dismiss the rest of his body of work in Tennessee. He needs to improve, take it to the next level. I guess we will see if he is able to do so- the same goes for our OC. A lot of this is at the footsteps of Todd Downing, as well, as well as JRob for not replacing key elements from the previous years. An injured Julio doesn't replace star tight end, a slot receiver and a burner- all lost before last season.
