I thought Reese said that McNairs deal would have to be worked out first before anybody else could be (re)signed?

What a stroke of luck for things to work out this way. I remember when we signed him in the off-season thinking......hey, its worth a shot.....maybe it was just his injuries that kept him down. I was just hoping he would be an upgrade over Carlos Hall. Man did he really exceed my expectations. WHO could have possibly thought he would have had such a dynamic year. Heck, he could have had at least 2 more sacks in the Indinapolis game alone...
