SUMMARY: One of the top prizes of the upcoming free agency won't hit the market as the Tennessee Titans have reached a contract agreement with DE Kyle Vanden Bosch. The four-year deal guarantees $14.5 million with a $5 millions signing bonus."Last season he exemplified himself as an important part of our defense through his work ethic and intensity on and off the field," said GM Floyd Reese. "It helps us to get something worked out with him before free agency, and I think both parties in this case were able to accomplish what they wanted with the deal." A press conference is scheduled for tomorrow at Baptist Sports Park.

I thought Reese said that McNairs deal would have to be worked out first before anybody else could be (re)signed?

What a stroke of luck for things to work out this way. I remember when we signed him in the off-season thinking......hey, its worth a shot.....maybe it was just his injuries that kept him down. I was just hoping he would be an upgrade over Carlos Hall. Man did he really exceed my expectations. WHO could have possibly thought he would have had such a dynamic year. Heck, he could have had at least 2 more sacks in the Indinapolis game alone...

Looks like he was.
