I went there to work a show
it's called Magic - it's the largest Fashion show

I built the Calvin Klein / Izod / Van Huesen exhibit

and didn't have an opportunity to see, hear anything other than work

and I kinda preferred it that way

you're not gonna miss him ?

the writing's on the wall
if it doesn't happen this year, it's a given next

I see nothing odd about a farewell tribute

and you're gonna give me $%*! about my sig after some of yours ? :ha:

I think its still a little premature but Steve does deserve a proper farewell tour on gotitans.com

agreed .... on both accounts

being probable that this is his last as a Titan
and the season (fiscally) officially begins on Sunday Night, it's the time to start the farewell's - if it's up there all year so be it

I think a banner's a good idea - on every page ..... that'd be proper

I'm just jealous because I want to go to Vegas. :brow:

see I'm not really much of a gambler anyway
I'd be pissed if i ended up dropping $100 or more in a frackin casino

thankfully I spent so much time working I had little opportunity to run amuck. i can gladly say I did nothing to contribute to the expansion of the city

here's the boring conclusion of one of my whole 2 days off.
A buddy of mine that happened to be down there for the same show, who just happens to be staying at a hotel - one hotel from me comes by with some Vodka and beer and wants to go to the Stratosphere. we went up - rode the rides (1,000 feet in the air - YEAH this big space needle had RIDES on top of it)
anyway, we just walked the strip with stops at the Flamingo, Ceasars, Treasure Island and stopped at the Bellagio. Back to the room
that might not sound like a whole lot , but walking from the stratosphere to Bellagio can take half a day

and then you're still only halfway down the strip

Day 2
started at the Venetian and ended at Mandalay Bay with stops at New York New York, Excalibur, and Luxor
and I was done with it

back to the room
Beer
and Golf

the Strip is definitely interesting, but a block or 2 in either direction of it and you're in a totally different town it feels

blah blah blah

and it looks like I'm gonna be booked to do this show (which happens twice) from now on
hopefully I continue to reap from the town instead of contribute to it
it's all business

the Stratosphere from the ground at the extreme end (opposite the Airport / Mandalay Bay / MGM / Luxor) of the strip

the "needle" at the top is actually a ride. it's one of those "SuperShot" / "Freefall" doodads and to the left is this crane thing that slides you off the edge and drops
crazy

this :

with nothing to stop you but a spring no bigger than one found in your mattress and a rubber bushing the size of a beer can
