I guess the great thing is now with the new CBA contract, we will have more money under the cap. However, all the other teams will have extra money to spend just like the Titans. It still seems to be good news for the Titans.

We were about $6M under before. Now it's about $16M. They could clear up a few more million if they wanted to by restructuring or by doing something with McNair.maximus said:
We'll have to see how the rookie salary structure changes (if it does). Before, I figured a $4.5M rookie cap (having already accounted for $1.88M of it). But it could go either way. They could have limited rooke contracts so guys aren't getting $20M signing bonuses anymore. Or the contracts could have stayed the same percentage wise but will now be even bigger because the cap is higher. We'll have to wat and see...
