Too bad the construction didn't happen when we were a 5-11 type team.

Probably the most excitement this team has had going into a season and it's a no go for the fans during training camp.

Last year when fans weren't allowed to watch due to the pandemic, was the first year I had missed since 2008. I was really looking forward to this year's camp, it's always one of the highlights of the season for me, because you get so close to the action.

I had convinced myself that they would at least have a practice open to fans off site, but they're not even doing that. Mike Keith tried to explain it away on the OTP saying that events like the Garth Brooks concert kept them from doing it at Nissan Stadium. Here's an idea - HAVE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. They've gone to local high schools in the past to do it. Vanderbilt has a stadium in town, there are plenty of places to have a practice for the fans to come out. This reeks of laziness to me.

As TTBB says, the cool part of training camp is being up close to the players. Practices at Nissan don’t allow this so I personally would skip it anyway.

IMO, this is Vrabel. They cut back sessions open to the public before the pandemic. Even the media gets in less.

the largest amount of preseason hype behind this team since 2008, and actually before that because we hadn't made the afc title game in 2006.....

and we're going to waste it due to a boo-boo flu and construction to put in more air conditioners.. (probably not what it is, but the principle is the same)
