First and foremost I can’t thank you u enough for the thoughts and prayers for my family and myself this week. I’m also celebrating a bday here which u guys know as well and helped send a bday gifts to me. That means so much to me, made me even tear up yall. But I didn’t want to leave anyone out in showing my gratitude my love my appreciation for each and every one of u. Y’all are brothers to me! Thanks again for everything!

Oh, yea, we're not close at all. Only drove through there once on my way to SF for a weekend.
SD seems like an alright place but I only got a short time before I had to deploy and the COVID stopped everything before I left. I lived in the Oxnard/Ventura area for a handful of years in the 2000's and enjoyed it but it helps knowing the Navy is paying for my stay. Once I retire, no chance I'm staying in CA.
