Court date set for criminal recklessness charge
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- The wife of Indianapolis Colts cornerback Nick Harper will not face a felony battery charge for cutting him with a kitchen knife, a judge ruled.
Daniell Harper, 31, still faces a criminal recklessness charge. She was released on $5,000 bond Tuesday after spending the weekend in the jail.
Hamilton County prosecutor Sonia Leerkamp said the judge apparently did not allow the battery charge because Nick and Daniell Harper both claimed the stabbing was accidental.
