I’m reading this as alternate helmet available for wear on the games that color rush/throwback uniforms are worn, not just any game.

Yep. That will be sweet. Even though the uniform will make no sense for the State, it is cool, and you have to do it. And it will piss Texas off I think, and yet, I bet underneath they like it.
