I always like these reminders of just how solid this franchise actually is. We get so frustrated, and rightfully so, about not winning or getting to the big game. But, this franchise is one of the best when it comes to consistently winning games and being competitive.

are 8-8, 9-7, 7-9 seasons actually enjoyable? it's completely empty. you get no postseason. you get no high draft pick. nothingI always like these reminders of just how solid this franchise actually is. Those are the years Tennessee in particular has built up a season for a rare week 17 playoff game (week 18 now).are 8-8, 9-7, 7-9 seasons actually enjoyable? it's completely empty. you get no postseason. you get no high draft pick. nothing

Titans are about 50/50 in those games.
And some of their best draft picks have come the resulting draft order number. Certainly better than their top 10 picks.

I don’t know, man. That’s all we are used to. Would it be better to be a Browns or Lions fan? It might be more exciting every once in a while, but you have to live with a whole lot of suck. Would you rather be a Patriots fan right now? Not a lot to be excited about, but you’d have some awesome memories.are 8-8, 9-7, 7-9 seasons actually enjoyable? it's completely empty. you get no postseason. you get no high draft pick. nothing

Since 1999 the Titans are in the top ten in most winning seasons with 13
The Titans worst stretch without a winning season with just 4 years from 2012 through 2015 and in my opinion two people had a lot to do with that and thats GM Ruston Webster and QB Jake Locker.
We finished with a winning season in 2011 and almost made playoffs with Hasselbeck at QB
When Locker took over in 2012 he was terrible and had bad accuracy throwing.
I attended a game in 2013 Locker played bad the entire first half vs Jags and got injured we were losing at half 13-0, Second half Fitzpatrick came out and did really well sciring 27 points in second half but we lost by 2 points 29-27.
Fitz Would've had a winning season in 2013 if not for 2 games with special teams issues and defense.
Fitz did well vs Indy but Devon Wylie had a fumble on a return that killed us another 2 PT loss
He threw 400 yds and 4 TDs vs Arizona but the defense shit the bed we lost in OT
Locker's last two games he couldn't even get above 50 percent in completion percentage against Dallas and Cincy in 2014
Webster terrible drafting his best FA pick up was Delanie Walker and he was really good.

The cost of a QB went from 1.7 million/year (McNair) to 1.7 million/year (Levis).

dont think lorax ever officially GM but had bigly power while associated with team
The fact we did this without a franchise QB most of the time besides McNair for 4 of these years...is what is most impressive. Most of the teams ahead of us had a Franchise QB for a good chunk of the time to rack up wins including the Broncos & Chiefs with Manning and Mahomes.
Stability in QB and System is important. It’s very hard to have success without stability. The fact we did this without a franchise QB most of the time besides McNair for 4 of these years...is what is most impressive. Titans have had the best record in the NFL 3 times.
2x, 3x AFC #1.Titans have had the best record in the NFL 3 times.
2021 titans were 12-5 but GB and TB were 13-4.
but cheers, I’d like them to do something with that #1 seed next time.
