SUMMARY: Reports indicate that the Titans are split over which QB to take with the third pick of the NFL Draft next Saturday. The coaches are supposedly wanting Matt Leinart but GM Floyd Reese and owner Bud Adams prefer Vince Young. Yesterday, Reese admitted it's partly true but said he also likes Leinart, and Vanderbilt quarterback Jay Cutler, too. "I like them all," Reese said. "I just want to make sure I get the best guy for us." The Titans have been in draft meetings all week and will continue evaluating the QBs next week. As of now, many feel Young has the edge. "With each guy you are looking at a total package and you are trying to take a package and try and fit him in to what you do and find the best guy to do that," Reese said. "The guy that fits us best may not fit Green Bay best or it may not fit the New York Jets. Each one of those guys is very strong in a lot of areas, and it's out job to find out who fits us the best."

There is really no clear cut favourite at this stage, I want Young to be picked, and he probably has a slight advantage with the staff at the Titans.

IMO, I feel that Young will probably be the right package for this franchise

Lets vote: Who do you think we be the best of the big 3 QBs, and which one do you think we will take and will it be the first QB off the board yes or no.

I Like Young the best, I think we will take Leinert, and I think he will be the first QB off the board.

No clear cut favorite?

That indicates to me that even the so called experts don't have much more knowledge than we have. It bothers me if after all those workouts and interviews they can't determine that one guy is above the others. All three guys will not be great, anyone who says that is a moron or is blowing smoke.

Am i the only one that has read numerous reports about vince young's wonderlic that his second score was actually a 7 and the 15 came the third time around? Geez maybe that is why we have indecision.

Yeah, I've seen those too, RT. Are you saying it's bad that the "draft experts" (meaning outside of the teams) don't know which QB the titans think is best, or do you believe the article, and think it's ridiculous that the titans can't figure out which one will be best?

I think the Young/Leinert issue is a smoke screen, and we are going to trade down a few picks, get our 3rd back and take Cutler.

It's all bull....everything said or speculated is all bull.... just like Character being the top thing that Reese considers when drafting a player... yeah right

As usual, 100% correct.

the wonderlic test means nothing about how u can play the game of football, ryan leaf scored 11 points higher than dan marino did and look who turned out to be the hall of famer and argueably the best quarterback ever!

If all 3 qbs still on the board at 3rd pick we trade with Oakland (#7 and#38 ) they take Young we pick choice of qbs or qb left at #7 and pick up extra 2nd rnd pick.

Gotitans.......ghostz..

I don't care about the experts but it would be nice if they had the balls to say this guy is the best. Some have, at the very least mel kiper has seperated cutler from the other 2 and now has him way down at 20th with lienart and young 3rd and 4th on his big board. The titans have to come to some conclusion that one guy is best for our team and will be the best pick. Then they need to boldly go get that guy. If they like cutler the most i think we should trade down a few spots with the raiders if they want lienart bad enough maybe they at least have to consider trading up to guarentee getting him.

Ghostz, the nfl pays good money to have players take that test. If it was meaningless they would not do that. No QB has scored below a 10 and amounted to anything. Jeff george scored a 10, micheal bishop scored a 9. Maybe marino is at the bottom threshhold for a QB going on to be successful but a 6 score followed by a 7 might indicate that a player doesn't have the intellect neccessary to learn a system and understand the intricacies of being an nfl QB.

Simply picking out two guys like that is meaningless because success or lack of it depends on many things but a poor wonderlic like a poor 40 time could move a guy back a couple of spots. Peyton manning scored a 29 and jeff george scored a 10. Does that mean that the wonderlic does matter? I will say this, lienart's 35 score puts him in a better light with some teams than young's scores.
