He was better than the last two years worth of bums. Not a pro bowler but not horrendous. I bet there is still competition in camp.
He wasn't bad for us. Maybe add a late round draft pick for competition instead of a development QB we release weeks later??

Pretty consistent, but lacks range. Honestly, the FA market for kickers is pretty weak anyways since Koo, Gay, and Folk re-upped with their teams. So bringing Fat Randy back for continuity isn't a terrible thing. But we definitely need to bring in some competition.
Our man is money inside 40. That dude the bengals had though seems money all the way to 60.
If we could stop relying on him to win games for us on final drives the kicker position wouldn't be that big of an issue.

I would still draft a kicker. Not having a kicker who can hit from long range is scary.
What happened to Ficken? I thought he had a minor injury but don’t recall him ever returning from IR
We have 2 5ths and a 6th, we certainly can afford to use one of these on a kicker. If we are counting on filling serious holes in these rounds we are screwed. Anybody that makes the roster 5th round and beyond is a bonus, kicking has been a hole for this team for a few years in a row. We need someone who can be trusted beyond 50
