If this was really serious, and his play would be effected by it we would have heard about this at the end of the year. I'm not worried about this. He'll be fine.
KVB Sidelined After Shoulder Surgery
SUMMARY: DE Kyle Vanden Bosch had surgery on his shoulder and is expected to miss offseason workouts. He is expected to be ready by the June mini-camps or training camp the end of July. KVB had some difficulty with the shoulder at the end of the 2005 season and the team considered surgery at season’s end but instead decided to see if the injury would better with rest. The decision for surgery was made after the shoulder continued to be a problem instead of waiting until closer to the start of the regular season. KVB signed a four-year, $22 million contract in February and is coming off a 100 tackle season with 12.5 sacks.

it shouldnt be too bad if we gave him a long term deal knowing he had dealt with it at the end of the season.
