Vikings tap Ferraro to coordinate special teams
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings hired Paul
Ferraro as their special teams coordinator on Wednesday. Ferraro
was a special teams and strength and conditioning assistant for
Carolina last season.
That was Ferraro's first year in the NFL after 23 seasons as an
assistant in the college ranks. The Panthers lost in last Sunday's
NFC championship game, so Ferraro wasn't able to interview with new
Vikings coach Brad Childress until this week.
