Dude yes. Why isn’t Justin Simmons signed yet??? I remember hearing a month ago we were interested - fits a huuuge need at safety - young hybrid type and then crickets. I recently looked on google to see if he was even still available.

Seems like we got ridiculous value with this pick and the CB.
I'm optimistic about this pick. UNC has had a lackluster defense, but I feel like Gray showing out was more than the product of being surrounded by lackluster defenders. He's definitely a down hill attacker, but he's demonstrated some ability in coverage as well reeling in a respectable amount of interceptions. I'd expect him to line up with Murray from day one as a starter. I feel infinitely better about the ILB positional group after this draft pick.
