Would not have been my first choice, not even at RB. I would have take Tyler Badie, but looks like a solid player. A little slow. No doubt meant as a replacement for Foreman.

This guy is a sleeper on so many draft boards. Between the tackles beast with a very high ceiling. Great work ethic too. Definitely don’t hate this pick.

Feel like a make up for another miss with Evans.
I liked the Evans pick at the time, but now I’m sour on wasting a good draft pick on a backup RB, unless they have some insane characteristics like they caught 100 passes or ran 4.3. How’s his pass blocking??
The Titans more than anyone have proven how easily we can find RB production off the street. On the bright side, hopefully this means we won’t run Henry into a wall 30 times a game. But you know he’s going to get at least 20, so this guy is going to get 5 or 10 per game. I’d rather run less. Hilliard was enough.

Yeah looks big for a RB like the pick too - Mel was raving how if you need a few yards he will get it - short down situations for first downs and excels at blocking for the QB.
He was a guy I liked in the later rounds. I think he was the type of HB we needed to round out our HB group. He and Hillard should be able to handed a couple if drives a game to spell Henry.

I'll need to warm up to him, as I really wanted Zamir White if we were going RB. But I can't complain too much, since the Raiders picked him right before us.

Titans have to be sick watching Austin & Likely getting picked before them. I would have picked one of them and took this RB with this upcoming pick. He would have been there.
Nah, I can guarantee you that they weren't going to get either one had they fell to 143.

I don't mind the backup, but we have our short yardage guy and a pass catching back. So really, his role is incredibly limited. He's ambulatory support in the big picture. And my take on that is not to prepare for the worst case scenario because it's not predictable.
I liked Jerome Ford better but Haskins one of the guys I was always looking into during my mock drafts. Runs hard like a wrecking ball. Gets a lot of YAC. Only issue is that he isn't much of a threat in the passing game. Wouldn't mind taking a late round pick on receiving back.
