just pulled into the driveway and per sirius radio the packers and charles woodson have agreed on a 7 year deal in the range of 45 million, deal has yet to be signed, but just about done....not really big news, just thought i'd throw it out there...
Dude has done nothing recently. 2 ints the past 2 year with a total of 18 games under his belt. He hasn't finished a 16 game year in 5 year; most notably 6 and 12. Right now he's just name - he's done nothing on the field recently to merit that contract
Just because the contract is for $52M over 7 years doesn't mean he'll see anywhere near that much money. It's all about what he'll get upfront and over the first 3 years or so.
PFT is reporting that in reality its a 3 year, 18 mil deal. And no signing bonus.
charles woodson has always been overrated and overpaid... isn't he the only cb to win the heisman?... the one that probably should have gone to manning
He's overrated, but if they're actually going to end up giving him 18 mill for three years, it's not that bad, and if he has a few better years, it's well worth it. I don't know nearly enough about his career to say that, but hey, if he has 6 int each year the next two years, it's a deal.
If HE received THAT, what will Ty Law receive when we sign him?!
He won the Heisman which many should thought would go to Manning. Ryan Leaf was 3rd, ha ha.
Isn't he a Raiders Icon, he must of done something to be recognised as one of their star players
Green Bay will suck this year, they will suck bad
