Titans Talk - Home for all things Tennessee Titans

Nothing wrong in Spears or Pollard.

Spears a legit #2 RB, while Pollard is a #1 or #2 depending on the team.

Just don't understand why we gave up on Henry, while Spears was tearing it up as a #2.

Yes Henry losing a step, but he's still clearing a #1 RB.

Ran's clear fuck up was not bringing Henry back and addressing the RT situation. Other than that I'm sold on him.
He clearly looks like he has lost a step in that 87 yd run, followed up by 4 yd and 5 yd runs lol

Henry was #2 in rushing last year. There was literally no reason to ship off our only star and a proven horse. The line couldn't block and he still finished #2. It's the definition of dumb. The same is said of the AJ Brown move. We gave away two top 5 players for nothin. That's why we are what we are.

And today the proof is in the pudding. He's as fast and as dominant as ever. He's just on a better team.

100%

II understand why they moved on, money and a change in offensive philosophy.

Unfortunately, Titans looked much better running the “archaic style” with a stud RB.

As far as Ran, yea, he couldn’t address everything, RG/RT get a pass.
But until the titans start winning something, I’m not sold on anything.
Wish I could have got an alert on this message, but I didn't.

Ran did great this offseason other than not bringing back Henry. I understand that you can't do everything in just 1 offseason after firing Vrabel.

He's did a damn great job IMO. I think the biggest mistake he's made may be hiring Callahan. He's supposed to be the offensive Genesis, but I'm just not seeing that right now.

I think I've made my decision. I will root for the Henry's Ravens against the Chiefs, and the Bills in the AFC playoffs. Anything to keep Mahomes outta the superbowl. Sickening, but this is what I will do.

Gotta also keep in mind, Henry did want to leave. He has been quoted saying he wanted to play for a contender this season and more than anything wants to win an owl. He knew that wasn't very likely here( sad but true). I do wish we had kept him but not much we could do

It’s the damn truth.

Can’t do it.

As much as I loved Henry, cannot ever support the Dirty Ratbirds.
They have directly taken 2 SBs away from TN.
And in dirty fashion. They still play to hurt people.

That 30 year old RB in Baltimore sure looks bad...

"Ravens RB Derrick Henry now leads the NFL in rushing (480 yards). It's the most rushing yards any player has had through 4 team games since 2021 (Derrick Henry: 510)"
Hard to believe he's on the same pace as that 2021 season where he was destined for 2k yards if not for injury.

Hate that he missed the most 200 yard rushing games in NflFL history by 1 yard. But he might just get it this season anyway.

I understand he probably wouldn't have stuck around in TN for any amount of money... But I sure wish the front office would have offered what ever he wanted.
