I think it's a decent deal for everyone. RSB gets 1.4. 520 gets his coveted picks. I get a starting RB for a pick that's probably gonna net someone like David Johnson or Devon Funchess.

I'm not high on Sankey in general but feel he's worth the risk at this price. The talent is there and I'm severely lacking in the young RB department.

Sankey tho?? 700 yards and 5 tds.... Maybe.

I guess as long as everyone is happy. That works. But wow.

3-2's for 1.4.... Hmm I suppose. Really depends on how these rookies pan out but at least you have massive fire power to just shot gun the draft.

I'm gonna die laughing if you pick scrub after scrub tho. But you're roster was trash. So I guess this is a solid effort to make something happen
He's gave #3 to you for Marshall (of the NY Jets) a 2, 3 and 4. I think you could argue that's a worse deal than 3 seconds for #4.

.

I'm not even sure I remember how I managed to gain Big Ben, Lynch, get my #4 pick back, and still have a 2nd round pick too.

Whatever I did... Great success!

You turned Hyde into Lynch... Uhh okay Crow. High hopes for Hyde tho.

You traded 2-2's plus Sankey for Big Ben.

However you gaining the extra seconds I don't remember but that's pretty much the gist of it

It's a gamble. I recognize that. But we were god awful last year. Sankey was late getting to camp. Had no passing game to back off opposing defenses. I think there's still reason for hope.

And IMO there's a very significant talent dropoff right around pick 16. I think Sankey has as good of a chance as anyone else who is gonna be there at pick 21.

You basically just traded 2 seconds for your 1.4 because Sankey is LOLsVille

My RB depth is currently horrendous though.

I was absolutely kicking myself for reaching so high for Sankey last year. Had to cleanse myself of that decision. Also, the fact that he's off of my roster means the chances of him having success have now increased... and I obviously hope he tears it up.

2.9 for Sankey is a good deal though.

Do you guys not think that Hyde won't be starting this year? Yea sure he likely isn't going to play better than Lynch this year, but I'm looking toward the future here.

I couldn't go into next season with two RBs over 30 and Alfred Morris.

You know why I'd rather have pick 21 rather thank Sankey? Because I already saw Sankey as a pro... And I know whiz intends to throw the ball. I won't put my thoughts on some of the other prospects on blast out here but I doubt Sankey 100

I've got Christine and Ball.... Trust me I made these similar stupid uncharacteristic reaches

Also David Cobb doesn't scare me. As a Titans fan I'd obviously love for him to beast. But if we're being honest dude is a 5th round pick. I don't think it's exactly a forgone conclusion that's he's gonna take over the starting gig.

I think Hyde was a great pick up for you. But I think you could have gotten him for less than lynch. You paid top dollar and THEN some.

I loved my Hyde pick last year, but as I watched him play I genuinely got the feeling that he's not a durable back at all. I feel like he'll be hurt way too often.

IMO you should've held onto Lynch and gone all in on this season to repeat. Can worry about the future later. I wish I had put less emphasis on the future when I drafted last year.

I was lucky that Gronk, Sanders, and Maclin all fell to me when they did. Without them my team would've been in 520 territory.

Hyde is a wildcard IMO. I could see him being a beast for years to come and I could also see him being a total flop. So it all comes down to your personal faith in the guy. Like Ensc said, I think you paid top dollar. But it could end up being a savvy move in the long run.

Yeah.... in a rookie year on a 2-14 team. I don't think we can make any definitive declarations on the dudes career based on that.

And honestly , if RSB had cut him and he was sitting there at 2.9 I'm taking him over David Johnson and Buck Allen all day long.

I think you guys are thinking more about regular FF with this trade. I had a lot of age at RB, with no real shot to get a good one this year.

Perhaps a bit rich, and any basically straight up trade is risky. Plus I owe RSB for that whole Palmer thing last year.

Who did I give you for Palmer? It couldn't have been anyone that good. And at the time, I was desperate for a QB. Of course, he tore his ACL right away.

RSB curse.

I think it's a legitimate idea that Cobb could start. Sankey looked pretty damn bad.
