we should resign Carlos Hall and maybe look for a trade of some sort for Kevin Carter back....
this just in: carlos hall isnt that good. aside from the 3 sack game he had as a rookie he has had 6.5 sacks since then. frankly, he probably had more offsides than sacks.

What? Carlos Hall had 13.5 sacks in 3 seasons for the Titans as well as 81 solo tackles.... not that bad for a backup.
my bad, i screwed up on the sacks.
he has 14.5 sacks in his career. 3 of those came in his first game as a pro. that means he has gone about 59 games with a grand total of 11.5 sacks.
thats not very good.

You do realise he wasn't a starter right? He started part of his rookie season (I think, or his second) because Kearse was out with an injury, but other than that he saw a limited amount of playing time, but still did ok. Certainly better than what Odom, Laboy and Schobel have combined to do so far, imo.
hall played plenty when he was here. started 14 games his rookie year, although he damn near started 15 since kearse went out in the first series. he was also in on the nickle defensive line the next two years with he and kearse at end with carter and haynesworth at dt.
who was he sitting behind in KC? eric hicks. he hasnt had a double digit season since 2000. in fact he had 4 sacks last year.
over the past two years laboy and odom have had more sacks than hall.
im telling you, hall had more offsides penalties than he did sacks while he was here.

Maybe on par with Odom, not with LaBoy, better than Bo imo.

He was behind Hicks and Allen, both very good DE's (but of course if you're only gauging DE success on sacks then you probably wouldn't know).

LaBoy has 10, Odom 4 and Hall 3.5. And both of our players saw significantly more playing time than Hall.
if a player can play, the coaches will find a way to get him on the field.Vigsted said:LaBoy has 10, Odom 4 and Hall 3.5. And both of our players saw significantly more playing time than Hall.
hall didnt play because he sucks.
