Dominick davis out for year...

Bad knee...

Texans wish they took bush..

A note of caution guys. Jeff will remove a whole thread that links to posts that violate the rules here. I recall a thread that linked to a post from a jets forum and the f word was used an the whole thread disapeared. Could have been el salvadoran death squads. Or titan jeff. Both similarly notorious.

Man, that sucks about DD. I thought the knee wasn't supposed to be such a big deal. Then I read some stuff online today about him being placed on IR. Makes you kinda wonder why Antowain Smith couldn't catch on with this team, I would have thought he would be a good fit for them.

Yes. He will get more yards that whoever the Titans name as their starter. Lundy will have atleast 100 more yards. With our 2nd RB getting a healthy number of carries.

How many times have we seen rookie RB's run out of steam the last six weeks or so of the season. Not many can handle the workload through the home stretch in their 1st season.

How many times have we seen Henry or Brown play a whole season anyway.

How does this relate to my post? Nevermind.

I was just suggesting it would be unwise to pin an entire seasons hopes on a rookie RB. That's the hand you've been dealt but the odds are your running game will stutter down the stretch.

Is it really that hard to understand???

IF our rookie RB hits some imagined rookie wall he could still out perform your injury prone RB or your drug suspended RB.

It's not really that hard to understand.

You gotta agree with me now that DD is out for the year. Texans could've had Bush, and there's no telling how far he would've taken them, single-handedly. He would've made Carr better, he would've made defenses respect them.

Now, they're left with a suspect D end and no running back.

Every rookie is suspect in preseason. I could just as easily say that you're stuck with a suspect QB, that has never won the big game. That doesn't mean he won't step up this year but the statement is just as yours.

As far as your no RB comment, you do realize that our rookie outplayed the rookie your hyping so much.

And yes I wish Davis was healthy and yes I believe that Bush would make our team better. Bush, if he lives up to all the hype, would make every team better. It's not that hard to realize that the TEXANS D ranked last, last season. It is also proven that Kubiaks system does wonders for RBs. Those two things combined have me putting my faith, for the Texans, in the hands of the man coaching the team.
