He would have been governor of Tennessee by now if he had come over and probably settled into a nice retirement job as a lifetime do nothing senator.Part ownership was offered as well wasn't it?

Making the playoffs this year is the goal. Makes for a very quick rebuild and the Super Bowl window officially opens. It feels like we are a season away from being truly competitive, like we were in 2019-2021.
There are still questions at pass rush, S, RG, RT and depth everywhere, except maybe at CB and WR.
I think we will be better than we were last year, but still too many holes to be a true contender.

Yeah , offered the Qb position and part ownership, at the least. There could have been more involvedPart ownership was offered as well wasn't it?
Players aren’t allowed to be given ownership stakes, so that part was a myth.Yeah , offered the Qb position and part ownership, at the least. There could have been more involved

Vannett is a journeyman TE who has started games for 6 teams in 9 NFL seasons. When PIT traded for him in 2019, Mason Rudolph praised the addition “Could tell he was a bright dude. I didn’t know how bright he was but he was able to get here in a week and pretty much absorb the game plan in a matter of days, and that was really impressive to me. He’s a professional, great dude.”Who?
In other words, 3 downs a month. I ain’t excited about a TE that don’t catch…. And reportedly doesn’t excell at run blocking either. :trophy:Vannett is a journeyman TE who has started games for 6 teams in 9 NFL seasons. Nicknamed “Baby Gronk”, Vannett is more of a pass blocking TE than a pass catcher. This looks like a veteran addition meant to add experience to a young TE room.
What the heck is the point of a pass blocking tight end? I'm surprised that term has even been coined.Vannett is a journeyman TE who has started games for 6 teams in 9 NFL seasons. Seems an overdramatic signing since just using an OL would make more sense but, last year as an example, a pass blocking TE could have helped. What the heck is the point of a pass blocking tight end? I'm surprised that term has even been coined.
I like my QB to be more of the kneeling type than a thrower.

Yea but did you see that defense and WRs compared to ours?He would have been governor of Tennessee by now if he had come over and probably settled into a nice retirement job as a lifetime do nothing senator.
Part of one of the deepest running back stables we ever had. Highsmith, Pickett, rozier, white.
I would imagine that wouldn’t start until he retired. I also heard coaching was offered but he was not interested at allPlayers aren’t allowed to be given ownership stakes, so that part was a myth.
