why throw a deep pass on 3rd and 25 when they know it is coming. It has less then a 10% chance to succeed.
I say Jeff keeps the starters in throughout the whole game, they look like they need all the practice they can get :hmm:
Volek doesn't look that bad, but its easy to play pass D when it's 3rd and 8.
If you are afraid to make that throw, you never stand a chance. That's my opinion. Warren Moon, Elway, Montana, and every other good qb tries that throw. You are not going to get picked if your WR's are half decent. What is the point of not trying it. That's my thing. You send 4 WR's down the field and one of 'em is bound to get open. Volek just has to find 'em. 15 yards of field position is a waste. The Falcons want you to take 15 yards and punt. And then you give it to 'em. That's just too conservative in my opinion.
Atlanta's a pretty bad football team at this point too, and they are still running on us pretty easy and getting the bootleg whenever they want it, they haven't even tried to throw the ball.......lucky for us.
I'm still trying to decide if I should put off NFL Sunday Ticket for yet another year...

You should get some sun...I'll bet you're a nice, minty green by now.

Thornton should not give up the outside like that, bad play. And no we still have problems with bootlegs.
Sirmon is a quitter, Titans are losers by continuing to associate themselves with himVigsted said:Sirmon looks to hesitant to play MLB though...
150 yds rushing in the first half??? no we're not soft, they don't need to throw the ball.
